  • Certificate of conformity
  • Operating instructions
  • Workshop drawings
  • Design data (e.g. operating data, corrosion factors)
  • Material certificates
  • Welding information and information incl. certificates relating to NDT and heat treatment

Inspections

Initial inspection

Initial inspection prior to putting into service and the 1st inspection during ongoing operation after two weeks

Following an interruption of operation longer than two months and after three months of operation.

Prior to putting into service, instead the initial inspection a technical examination in accordance with the building code is carried out

External inspection

Inspection during ongoing operation every 12 months of operation

Inspection during ongoing operation every 3 months of operation.
Following an interruption of operation longer than 2 months

Not applicable

The inspection interval may be substantially less than the maximum inspection interval depending on the particular application.

In special cases other methods and terms of verifying the technical conditions of boilers and pressure vessels may be used – see the accompanying comments

Internal inspection

Every 5 years of operation

Every 12 months of operation

 

Pressure test

9 years after the previous pressure test

9 years after the previous pressure test

 

Leak test at working pressure

After every internal inspection and every opening of the pressure-bearing part
